According to the 1930 Census, Minnie's father's birthplace was listed only as "United States" and her mother's was New York. Her widowed daughter, Lillian and some of Lillian's children were living in Minnie's home at the time of the census. Also living in the house was a boarder, LeRoy Moss, who would later marry Minnie's daughter, Lillian.

Minnie married John A. DANKMEYER in 1900.³⁸⁸ (John A. DANKMEYER was born in 1872 in Wisconsin,⁶⁵ died in 1956 in Wisconsin ³⁸⁹ and was buried in 1956 in Forest Home Cemetery, Wittenberg Township, Shawano County, Wisconsin ³⁸⁹.)
